How it works
The exhaled air containing nitrous oxide is initially filtered through a particulate filter.
A catalytic process takes place at high temperatures, breaking down the nitrous oxide into oxygen and nitrogen. This process also generates excess heat, which is harnessed and utilized in the next step.
The purified and hot air is then directed into a heat exchanger, where the excess heat is recycled and utilized to warm up the incoming exhaled air. This process ensures maximum energy efficiency and reduces the amount of heat wasted in the process. The cooled and harmless purified air is released into the atmosphere.
The system is monitored and controlled by an integrated control system, which can be accessed and monitored remotely via a web interface.

Energy efficient
Our technology is designed to harness and recycle excess energy generated during the decomposition process of nitrous oxide. Our systems are built with few moving parts, making use of a stable and reliable catalytic process that ensures consistent performance with low energy consumption. We have also developed a unique heat exchange and isolation technique that enhances the efficiency of our purification process while ensuring safe operation with minimal operating costs.
Our centralized system (CDU) consumes approximately the same amount of energy as a conventional coffee maker (around 800 W), making it an energy-efficient solution for healthcare facilities. Similarly, our mobile system (MDU) consumes only about 100 W, making it a highly efficient and portable solution for nitrous oxide emission control.
