How it works:

Step 1. Capturing

Exhaled N2O is captured from the canisters using a connected wagon that extracts the gas.

Step 2. Decomposing

The unit uses a catalytic process to decompose N2O into Nitrogen (N2) and Oxygen (O2).

Step 3. Releasing

Purified air is safely returned to the environment, significantly reducing harmful emissions.

Purifies over 99% of N2O, creating a safer work environment and significantly reducing climate impact.

Effortlessly relocated between treatment rooms and accommodates both N2O and Oxygen cylinders.

General Principle

The Recycling Decomposition Unit utilises a catalytic process to decompose N2O into Oxygen (O2) and Nitrogen (N2), which are the primary components of air. The decomposition process requires a high temperature, and Medclair has developed a unique technique using a heat exchanger and isolation that results in a high degree of energy recycling. This significantly reduces the energy consumption required after the initial heating up of the unit.
