Medclair launches new product

Medclair, a world leader in safe N2O management, launches new product for measuring nitrous oxide exposure in the work environment.

Involuntary exposure to nitrous oxide is a well-known problem and studies of healthcare professionals' exposure have long been an established practice. The methods currently available are both costly and time-consuming, something Medclair's product solves.

Personnel exposed to nitrous oxide on a daily basis have requested a tool that can ensure a safe working environment - a product that protects by alerting in the event of overexposure and can also be used for analysis by storing exposure data. Medclair's new device, NOD (Nitrous Oxide Detector) is small and flexible for the user while the technology is reliable and user-friendly. The meter has a high sensitivity, which means that it warns at very low values.

There is great interest in the product in the healthcare sector, medical technology distributors and leading gas companies. The first units will soon be sent out to a number of reference customers for evaluation. The goal is a market launch no later than Q2 2021.
